Gravity Rush 2 Releases December 2nd, Receiving Anime

The follow-up to the Vita Launch Title Gravity Rush finally has a release date, Sony has announced. In a post on the PlayStation Blog today, the company revealed that the game will launch in the US on December 2nd. Along with the release date, Sony announced that an anime is on production called Gravity Rush The Animation ~Overture~. The plot will cover the events between the first and second game, and will be released before the game launches.

The game will also have pre-order bonuses. When you pre-order the game, you will receive a nine-track soundtrack for the game, along with a special white skin for the protagonist, Kat. If you pre-order the game on PSN, you will also receive 10 avatars for use on the service.

Gravity Rush 2, unlike the original, will exclusively come to PS4. Earlier this year, the game was re-released on PS4 as Gravity Rush Remastered.
