EA Receives Award For “Best Place To Work” By Human Rights Campaign

On a recent blog on EA’s own site, the company received an award on how they treat their LGBT employees. The company scored 100% on the corporate equality index for the fourth year.

Here is a quote from the blog:

“At EA, we believe each and every one of our employees deserve to come to work with a sense of belonging as their full and complete selves so we can best meet the needs of our diverse gamers as one team,” said David Kim, Senior Director of Diversity, Inclusion & Corporate Social Responsibility at EA. “Providing that inclusive environment starts with providing equal benefits and opportunities to all employees but continues in how we engage in our communities to advocate for full inclusion and equality.”
EA monitored how transgender were treated in the company. Not only that but took note of those who promoted LGBT programs and events as well.
