EA Hope To Sell 10 Million Copies Of The New Battlefront

There have been a lot of discussion surrounding the new Battlefront. A producer has gone out and said that it wasn’t going to be a Battlefield reskin. They now hope to sell 10 million copies when it gets released. Battlefront Game Engine was shown during Star Wars Celebration in April.

They have now released a statement regarding the game itself:

“We certainly hope we can leverage a lot of the hype. We’re thinking about [Battlefront’s sales projections] as two bookends. One bookend is the historical Battlefront, which did roughly 9 million units. The other bookend is our first-person shooter franchise, Battlefield, which typically does around 15 million units.”
the statement continues with
“We’ve put in there roughly nine to 10 million units for the title, which we believe is the upside if things go well,” said Jorgensen. “It is Gen-4 only and PC, so that needs to be factored into people’s thinking.”
Battlefront is set to release November 17th 2015. Let us know what you think of this news in the comments below.
