Valve Forced To Give Refund In Europe

Valve has now been forced under EA laws to give refunds to those who want the game back within 14 days of purchase. This comes after they said they want paid endorsement to be disclosed and that the customer service from Valve got an “F” from the BBB.

According to EU regulations translated: “If you are in the EU, you have the right to to reverse your purchase on digital content without cost or reason.” Steam now has new user agreement for EU, you can now get your money back within 14 days if you haven’t downloaded the content.

In contrast to EA on Origin, you can actually play the game and get a refund within 24 hours. If there are any technical issues you can get a refund within 72 hours.

We know that Steam also had to tell developers to stop giving away free keys in its Greenlight program and they are trying to improve on the image of steam. Let us know what you think of this in the comments below
